Did I study filing on a high mountaintop in Peru? Or, perhaps, contemplate the intricacies of such whilst in silent deliberation for the length of one full year-- all the better to understand the delicate difference between 20 lb. and 25 lb. bond paper being shuffled.

My dedication to worldly knowledge in this field may not have occurred through such events as described above, though they are symbolic of my dedication during the last 20 years to understanding the intricacies of filing.

 It is often the overlooked that one day is the cause of upheaval. Take the tiniest vine just starting its climb up a tree, small and insignificant against the giant conifer--But look again in ten years and you are searching the vine to locate the tree. Or, when driving past the face of a dam, do you search for the large crack only to overlook the small hole where a single water drop spills.

 When running our dam businesses within that giant conifer- Corporate America, filing is the vine that places a strangle hold on growth... and the small, overlooked hole saps our bottom line.
